■ Seminar on "Funding opportunities for young entrepreneurs"

The Beauty Therapy Department organized a seminar for its graduates titled “Funding opportunities for young entrepreneurs”. The speaker was Mr. Nicos Sozos, Lecturer of Social Psychology at KES College.

After graduating, beauty therapy students, tend to become self-employed by creating their own beauty salon. Being a beauty salon owner implies heavy financial costs, a burden that acts as a deterrent and forces the graduates to be employed by third parties.

The aim of the seminar was to inform graduates for the various financial funding schemes that are available for people under 35. Furthermore, students were informed for the funding opportunities available for female entrepreneurs.
