■ Educational visit of "Office Adminstration & Secretarial Studies" course to the Presidential Palace

On Monday, the 30th of March, 2009, "Office Administration and Secretarial Studies" of KES College organized an educational visit to the Presidential Palace. The course’s second year students, escorted by the course supervisor Michalis Georgiades, had the chance to visit the historic grounds of the Presidential Palace.

The educational visit, which was coordinated by Mrs. Maria Stamatari, General Administration Officer, consisted of a tour of the halls of the Palace, including the entrance visitor halls, the Ministerial Halls, the office of the President of the Republic, the many event halls, and the administration offices.

After a very interesting general tour of the outer grounds and the spectacular gardens surrounding the Palace, where the students had the opportunity to observe first hand these historic spots, Mrs. Maria Stamatari presented the general activities and responsibilities of the administration staff of the Palace, which reports to the Press and Information Office.

Concluding, Mrs. Stamatari outlined to the students the specifics in regards to applying for work in the Public Sector, and specifically in the Public Administration and Personnel Department, as well as the Government Exams.

KES College would like to thank the Management of the Presidential Palace, and especially Mrs. Maria Stamatari, for her warm hospitality, and for all the time she dedicated to our students.
