■ Participation of "Office Adminstration & Secretarial Studies" course in the Educational Seminar titled “Professional Receptionist”


On Friday, March 27, 2009,  "Office Administration and Secretarial Studies" course  of KES College, participated in an educational seminar, titled “Professional Receptionist”, which took place at Hilton Lefkosia and was organized by People Achieve, a well known consultancy- training firm.

The course students, escorted by the course supervisor Michalis Georgiades, had the chance to participate in the seminar, which was sectioned in a number of topics, including Professional Servicing, Personal Development, Electronic/Telephone Support, Complaint / Crisis issue handling, Body Language, etc. The seminar was directed by Mrs. Aspasia Simillidou.

The seminar included presentations and subject analysis like Rules for Effective Telephone Communication, Attitude and Behavior of a Professional Receptionist, Time and Priorities Management, Professional Presence, Growth Points Awareness, and Plan of Action creation.

KES College would like to thank “People Achieve” for organizing this seminar, and especially the seminar coordinator, Mrs. Marina Xenofontos, for the invitations that were extended for free to five students of Office Administration and Secretarial Studies of KES College.
