The grand opening ceremony of KES COLLEGE Regional Office in India took place on Monday 20th November 2006. His Excellency Mr. Andreas Zenonos, High Commissioner of Republic of Cyprus to India inaugurated the new office. Mr. Sevag Avedissian - Second Secretary, other members of the Embassy, partners & friends of the College were also present. Mr. Petros Stylianou, Assistant Director General who visited the country for this purpose, also attended.

In his brief speech, the Cyprus High Commissioner mentioned that one of the main strategic objectives of the Cyprus Government is to render Cyprus as a centre for providing educational services. For this reason, he praised and congratulated KES COLLEGE for achieving this goal, and wished all the best for the initiative taken by KES COLLEGE by opening the Regional Offices in India.

Mr. Petros Stylianou in his short speech said that the goal of opening KES COLLEGE Regional office in India is to provide choice, assistance and guidance to candidate students from India, but also from neighbouring countries such as Nepal, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. He also mentioned that with the close collaboration of various representatives of the College, the greater aim of direct and proper representation of the College and that of Cyprus as a centre for providing educational services shall be achieved.

The office is situated in one of the most commercial areas of New Delhi, near the Cyprus High Commission offices, and covers an area of approximately 200m². It includes a reception area, director’s office, operations manager and accounting offices, and a conference room holding approximately 35 persons. The office is furnished with latest technology equipment, thus providing for the smooth operations of the office.
