Copy of letter from the sponsor's bank confirming that the sponsor (father or mother) has sufficient funds to finance the student's fees and living expenses in Cyprus.

Attested original police clearance certificate in the country of residence indicating a clear criminal record.

Attested passport photocopy. Please note that the passport must be valid for at least two years.

If the potential student is a minor (under 18 years old), then parental authorization must be given. This document must be attested and must clearly state that the parents or any other adult in charge of the minor gives his/her approval for the minor’s resettlement in Cyprus for studying purposes.

Two passport size photographs.

Attested original health certificate attached with the following medical reports:
o Blood test for Hepatitis B and C, syphilis, and HIV/AIDS,
o Chest X-Ray for Tuberculosis.
This report must be in the format presented in example on our webpage and not older than 4 months.

(4) What happens after I submit the application form?
If you fulfill the admission criteria you will be sent an Acceptance Letter requesting you to submit the following:
a. The estimated tuition for the first year. The estimated tuition for the first year of €3,250 will have to reach the Admissions’ Office prior to the student’s Visa interview. If the student does not acquire a Visa, his/her tuition payment will be refunded into an account that the student provides (please fill the Form for Bank Transfer) in a period of 3 weeks after receiving the completed form.

An International Student Immigration Deposit of €500
The International Student Immigration Deposit will be paid upon arrival at KES College in the International Students’ Affairs Office. The International Student Immigration Deposit is refundable when you leave KES College following certain standard procedures.
(5) What level of English is required?
All students will have to take the KES College Placement Test in order to identify their level of English. Students who are weak in English will be placed in the Foundation course for their first semester and for a second semester if the student does not pass the first time.
(6) Does KES College award exemptions (transfer credits) for students with advanced standing?
KES College awards exemptions (transfer credits) from its programs of study under the following options: a) Students who have successfully completed courses at another accredited university/college. b) Students who have successfully passed GCE 'A' Levels or other similar qualifications.
(7) STUDENT VISA
Do I need a visa to enter Cyprus?
Yes. All international students (except EU applicants) must have a visa before they enter Cyprus. Provided that the student submits all the required papers together with his/her application form through KES College and or an agent under KES College, one of the two will inform the student of when and where the Visa interview will take place. The International Office of KES COLLEGE is responsible to prepare and submit the applications that fulfill the criteria according to the Cyprus Ministry of Education and Culture. The student visa is normally issued within one month from the date all required papers have been submitted by the College to the local authorities, but usually no later than seven to ten days before the beginning of the Semester for which the student has applied.
International students from China, India, Iran, Pakistan, Sri-Lanka, Cameroon, Nigeria, Syria, and Bangladesh will need to apply for a student visa from the Cyprus Embassy/Consulate from their country of origin.
Arrival Checklist
When entering Cyprus all international students should also have the following with them and must be prepared to show them at Larnaca Airport:
· Cash in hand. Immigration Regulations state that you must declare a total amount of €2,200 in cash to cover personal expenses (meal, books, accommodation, etc.) otherwise you may not be allowed to enter the country provided you have submitted the tuition fees for the first year of €3,250.
· The receipts indicating payments to KES College.
· Copy of acceptance letter from the Admissions Office.
· A valid passport (two year minimum validity).
(8) ACCOMMODATION
Can KES College help me with my accommodation?
While at present KES College does not have on campus accommodations it does offer assistance to its students to find suitable housing. The cost of a furnished apartment can range from €450-€650 per month. The rent varies depending upon the type of property and its location and is payable directly to the landlord/lady. The length of the rental agreement is usually for six or twelve months depending on the students needs. The College will have no responsibility for any problems that may arise between the students and the apartment[s] owners since all agreements will be made directly between the student[s] and the property owners.
Note: Some flats are equipped with freezers and cookers and some other with basic furniture. Other flats are unfurnished and students will have to buy or rent furniture or other requisites

(10) When do I pay the tuition and fees?
New students’ tuition is paid in full for the first year prior to arrival. All prior students’ must clear all pending tuition and fee balances before the beginning of a new semester.
(11) ADVISING AND COUNSELING
Does the College have any programs to help me settle in?
At the beginning of every semester, we are always eager to welcome new foreign students at KES COLLEGE. A two-day orientation programme is organized by the International Student Affairs Office to make students’ transition to KES College as smooth as possible. It is carefully designed to provide all the necessary resources and information needed to help students adjust to life in Cyprus and assist them in settling down and getting to know their new environment.
Our orientation programme provides students with the opportunity to meet some of their classmates and interact with the staff. Students are also given the chance to settle any pending issues with their residence permit, insurance and living arrangements.
More specifically, Orientation Programme aims to:

The International Office of KES COLLEGE has considerable experience in advising on immigration, English language, finance, accommodation or any other issues regarding international students. International office provides help before and during studies at KES COLLEGE.
The International Office also organizes the Orientation Programme at the beginning of autumn and spring semesters.
